Another week has once again gone by at Whovian TV, which means it's once again time to look ahead at the next seven days of television. So without further ado, grab your cup of tea, open your laptop and take a glance at the schedules for the next seven days ahead:

It's hard to believe, but an entire week has once again flown by. These seven days seem to disappear quicker and quicker each time, and there's really no sign of time slowing down. And so as another week ends, a new one begins - and that means a new series of listings from Whovian TV. Here's what I plan to watch within the next seven days;

A much busier week than the previous seven days then, on the face of it. I'm looking forward to checking out BBC4's docudrama on Delia Derbyshire, who was of course the creative genius behind the Doctor Who theme tune.  It makes a change to see BBC4 offer some new content, rather than regurgitated archive repeats. The Pact is a drama that sounds particularly compelling too.

This week I will also be launching my new film blog, to tie in with the opening of cinemas on Monday 17th May. This will be the second movie review blog I have run, after having previously published under a different blog site, which I no longer have access to. It will be nice to have a film blog once again, as I miss the one I used to run.

REVIEW: Bates Motel, Season 2 Episode Four 'Check-Out'

 REVIEW: Bates Motel, Season 2 Episode Four 'Check-Out' The revelations at the end of the previous episode were quite a shock to the Bates family tree, to say the least. Dylan (Max Thieriot), it seems, was the product of a rape - and not any old rape, but a rape which occurred between brother and sister. This episode picks up with the ramifications from such a reveal, in what is a very character focused episode of Bates Motel. Poor Dylan. He's had this major reveal about his parentage thrown on him, and it doesn't seem as though he has been coping at all. Dylan's been on the booze, and when Norman (Freddie Highmore) and Norma (Vera Farmiga) find him, he's in quite a state. Check-Out is a real showcase for the character of Dylan; it develops his character significantly, and poses some interesting questions regarding this new status quo he has found himself in.  REVIEW: WandaVision, Season 1 Episode Seven 'Breaking The Fourth Wall' Originally published in 2020, here are my thoughts on WandaVision's seventh episode 'Breaking The Fourth Wall'. This episode brings us up to date, with Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) now giving us her take on a modern sitcom. This version of WandaVision feels like a combination of Modern Family and The Office , with - as the title suggests - lots of the typical fourth wall breaking that you would expect of this mockumentary style. As with the other sitcom episodes, it's just so funny too. The comedy really lands, with so many moments that make you laugh out loud. One of my personal favourite gags from Modern Day WandaVision was the glitchy magic with the kids' game controllers. Seeingtey their controllers going from the modern PlayStation-style to the N64, and then to the Atari joystick, before landing on a pack of UNO playing cards just really made me chuckle.
