Some very interesting changes to the schedule this week. Firstly we have Coronation Street reduced to a measly two episodes, owing to the Euros 2021 matches which are flooding the schedules. I personally am not a fan of football, finding it extremely tedious to watch, which is why it's absent from my schedules, and I wish Coronation Street was on at its normal times.
Then we've got the surprising return of Gino's Win Your Wish List, which was quietly dropped by Channel 5 back in 2019, presumably owing to its dire viewing figures. Apparently these are episodes from the previous series two years ago which were shelved and never broadcast, so quite why Channel 5 has suddenly decided to resurrect them is anybody's guess.
I'm most excited to check out Clarkson's Farm, because the trailer made the farming series look very promising. It seems there will be plenty of humour to be had from Jeremy Clarkson turning to a life of farming, which to be honest is exactly what I want from a show like this. We don't want Clarkson to succeed, we want him to fail drastically, because it's more fun that way.
Happy TV viewing!
Your friendly neighbourhood Whovian Sean
