Quite a packed week all-in-all then. I'm particularly excited for the return of Michael Mcintyre's The Wheel, which is easily the BBC's greatest game show in years. It wouldn't be quite as entertaining without Michael McIntyre at the helm, but it's a lot of fun to watch, particularly when in Weakest Link style they rank the celebrities in terms of who has offered the strongest and weakest contributions.

The Grand Tour Presents Lochdown also looks very promising, with the trailer suggesting it will feature the usual hilarious banter between Clarkson, Hammond and May. Those three could read the phone book and it would still be a highly engaging watch. Scotland is also a very pretty area to have these car enthusiasts visit, so there should be some stunning pieces of cinematography which make some great use of the 4K presentation.

Happy TV viewing!

Your friendly neighbourhood Whovian Sean
